From Ashes to Eternal Life

Why do bad things happen? 

An isolated Hindu village served as a powerful constant reminder of God’s redemptive work.

Under severe persecution, our pastor was forced to leave his village home in a predominant Hindu Village.  Shortly, a devastating fire swept through the village. Burnt 15 houses to ashes.  No one stepped forward to offer aid.  No NGO.  No government assistance. 

Although persecuted and kicked out, Metro Nepal returned with essentials for relief.  Without pre-conditions.  In bewilderment, they asked, “We kicked you out.  Why did you return?”  The villagers’ hearts were softened by God’s love.  Their eyes see.  15 days later, a new fellowship was birthed by God’s gracious Gospel in

Christ.

Today in that village, more than 50 believers gathered. 31 baptized. Eight more prepared for baptism.  Ashes turned to eternal life.  God glorified.
